Helping Kids Shine - Private Occupational Therapy Service - Family support services

What we do

I typically work with children who are struggling to learn skills that their friends take for granted. I help them to develop their skills and become happy and confident both at home and at school.

The aim of the Service is to assess and provide Occupational Therapy for children and young people from 0-25. Often these children may have already had referrals to Statutory Services but either the wait is too long or the input has been too little prior to discharge. Referrals can be accepted from anybody: families/caregivers, teachers, case managers, solicitors, health care professionals, etc. The aim of Helping Kids Shine is to have a quick response rate and to be affordable for the families living in South Wales and further afield. Work is completed face to face via visits to client's own home, community and education settings. Online systems are also in place for providing support remotely.

Who do we support
