Home-Start Flintshire, supporting families in Flintshire - Family support services

What we do

Home-Start Flintshire have developed a new offer to support families over the telephone to reach out to the wider community during the COVID-19 crisis. We ask that our usual criteria of living in Flintshire and having a child aged 11 years or under is followed.
All home visiting and direct contact is suspended until further notice.
Our current families have voiced that a regular phone call helps their mental health, can signpost them for assistance from other agencies, share home-work tips for those struggling and just that listening ear. We can also work with the parent to enable telephone contact with children and support them too through this difficult time.
Please email our Rapid Response worker or text the message ‘Phone Support’ to 07938523138 You will then receive a call from us to discuss how we can help. Please bear in mind that all staff are now working remotely and we ask for your patience during this difficult time.
