What we do

Cylch Meithrin is now being managed and delivered by Trinity Childcare and Family Centre – employing qualified, experienced staff, delivering preschool experiences through the medium of Welsh. We aim to develop a high quality provision that supports and promotes the development of Welsh within the Early Years.
Children attending the Cylch Meithrin will experience a vibrant, exciting, safe, secure and exciting place for children to stay, play AND learn, whilst having FUN!
Each child is allocated a ‘key worker’, who supports you and your child, ensuring the transition from home to setting is as smooth as possibly can be. The ‘key worker’ will monitor and observe your child, plan appropriate activities and learning opportunities as well as ensuring their well being whilst at the Centre. All learning opportunities are delivered through the medium of Welsh - covering the Foundation Phase Framework and the requirements of the Flying Start programme.

Who do we support

Cylch Meithrin is a ‘Flying Start Core provider’ and caters for up to 12 children aged 2 – 3, with both ‘Flying Start and ‘non Flying Start’ families attending.
We are continuously monitoring, observing, up-skilling our staff, ensuring quality provision and service is provided at all times.
Parents and children are fully supported throughout the time spent at Trinity and staff are always available to offer support or advice.
Enquires are welcome from parents / carers and an opportunity to look around can be arranged by calling the Centre. We receive support from Mudiad Meithrin and work closely with Ysgol Rhyd-y-Grug school. Policies and Procedures are available in both English and Welsh.

We can provide wrap around care. We are able drop off and pick up from Ysgol Rhyd Y Grug aswell as provide wrap around childcare.
