MATCH (Mothers Apart From Their Children) - Family support services

What we do

MATCH is a charity that offers non-judgemental support and information to mothers apart from their children in a wide variety of circumstances. Mothers may be apart because of illness, divorce and family breakdown, a child has been fostered or adopted, the mother is in prison, for personal reasons or choice, because of religious and cultural reasons, or a child has been abducted.

MATCH members include those who are sharing parenting and those who have some, little or no contact.

MATCH believes that children have a basic human right to continue to be part of a loving, nurturing family network for life no matter how many times that family remakes itself, no matter where their mothers live.
