Family Pathway - Family support services


What we do

Family Pathway empowers parents by focusing on existing strengths and relationships within the family. We nurture and improve parent skills and strategies to understand and cope with all kinds of struggles, so parent-child relationship is strengthened.

Coaching for Parents - We provide 1:1 coaching for parents who are experiencing conflict and distress in the home and/or with the child’s school. Our service is highly knowledgeable in matters of Additional Learning Needs. We enable families to understand what it is that their child is rightfully entitled to.

Coaching for Children/Teens – 1:1 coaching sessions to support young people develop skills that enhance independence, confidence, self-esteem and resilience. This can be in relation to academic and/or personal goals.

We are a solution focused service that helps parents, children and schools to thrive together.

Who do we support

We work with +5 to 99

At HOME:
- Supporting with meltdowns in the home;
- Feeling that your child is not coping and as a parent you are feeling helpless;
- Your child is disengaged from school, can't seem to learn and struggles with friendships;
- You are a blended family struggling to manage the diverse needs and relationships at home;
- Your child is not neurotypical, and you are struggling to adapt your parenting approach to their needs
- Your child is experiencing high levels of anxiety, and sometimes not wanting to attend school and/or poor behaviour

At SCHOOL:
- Your child's school is not engaging with your child's needs;
- You have a difficult relationship with the school;
- Your child is struggling to make friends and integrate within school;
- Your child is being excluded from school;
- My child is anxious about going to school;
- My child does not have a diagnosis, but has challenges presented in ADHD, ASD, Dyslexia, processing issues and other needs

Where families are not able to afford our service, we gift our services on a needs led basis.

Can anyone use this service?

We accept self-referrals and service led referrals.

  • Able to support children with disabilities Yes Family Pathway offers a compassionate and professional service to young people, parents and schools, providing a bespoke person-centered solution, by developing their executive functioning skills during times of need. We work with children, young people and adults with a diagnosis of an invisible disability, such as ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia and other learning challenges
