Garnant Family Centre - Family support services

What we do

Garnant Family Centre provides lots of different groups for families.
We have a Bumps to Babies Group, Toddler and Sibling Group and a After school kitchen science plus group. In our Community Garden we have outdoor activity sessions for toddlers in term time and for everyone else in the holidays. Parents with children in school can come along to our gardening courses and our skills activities which can be anything from crafts to woodwork to cooking skills. Who do we support

Garnant Family Centre is there for any family whatever their background, with children from 0-11years. We provide a warm, welcoming and safe space, as staff understand that coming to a group for the first time is petrifying. Our groups give families a chance to share experiences around parenting, to have a chat and lots of fun.

Our Community Garden has wide paths so that it is accessible to people with disabilities. All are toilets are set up for people with disabilities. Staff receive training to increase understanding of children with additional needs.
