What we do

Ceredigion Flying Start offer informative, fun and interactive parenting sessions that help you get the best out of family life.

Over the 6 sessions offered to you, baby massage helps you to bond with your baby. Before babies are able to speak they communicate with the world around them through touch. Massage is a way to communicate with your baby before they can talk. It can help you to:

- Soothe baby
- Calm your baby
- Improves sleep
- Improves weight gain
- Aids digestion
- Improves circulation
- Reduce the symptoms of postnatal depression

Baby massage can be great for dads too. Some dads may miss out on a lot of the “hands-on” care of their babies, especially if they are at work and if their baby is breastfed. A regular massage with dad can become a routine, perhaps at bedtime, which helps to bring them closer.

Who do we support

For parents of children 8 weeks up to 7 months.
