This is an authority wide provision funded through the Families First and Flying Start programmes. The service provides Flying Start eligible families opportunities to develop parent skills and the confidence to enable them to support the physical, emotional and educational development of their children so that the whole family can enjoy more positive and meaningful lives.They can assist families to take up their benefits/entitlements, provide information and guidance to families to empower families to support themselves independently therefore improving their resilience and ability to cope.They will provide parents/carers with an opportunity to have their voices heard.
Provides support to families (residing in the Flying Start area) with children 0-3 years, including individual and group activities

Referrals are accepted from external agencies as well as self-referrals. Agencies have access to our Referral Form and can make requests via telephone / email.
