What we do

This is a school based setting, offering playgroup, early education ( the term after children turn 3years) flying start and childcare sessions for preschool children. Also offers a wraparound nursery plus provision for those pupils attending the Nursery Class at Ysgol Acrefair.

Who do we support

All children aged 2 to 4 years are welcome.

Experience/Training/Qualifications: PPA Diploma in Playgroup Practice, NVQ level 5 in Childcare Learning & Development. All staff are suitably qualified or working towards Childcare, Learning and Development, are DBS checked and attend all mandatory training in First Aid, Safeguarding and Food hygiene.

Fees are reviewed each September.

Funded early education session runs 9.00- 11.00 am Spring and Summer terms. Flying Start sessions run 12.15-2.45pm daily. Alternatively at these session times, children can attend the childcare for part of the day or all of our opening hours between 9.00 am - 2.45pm.

  Our costs

  • £10.00 per Session - Wraparound (11.30am - 3pm).
  • £8.50 per Session - Morning playgroup session (9.00-11.00 am)
  • £22.00 per Day - Full day care - 9.00 am - 2.45pm

Children to bring a packed lunch but snacks are provided in the costs.
