Who do we support
This course is for parents, grandparents and carers - for everyone in the new arrival's life who wants to build a strong, healthy relationship with the baby.
It’s a 5 week course which looks at the how and why starting your relationship with your baby before your baby even makes an appearance is so important for you and your baby!
It explains how and why you are so important to this baby, whether you are the mother, father, partner, grandparent or birth partner.
During the 5 weeks we cover the following topics:
• Expectations of a new baby
• Infant feeding and Safe Sleep
• Baby’s brain development
• Early language – Talking to your bump
• Preparation for labour & birth – this session is delivered by a
Midwife
• Perinatal Mental Health Awareness
