What we do

As a Myeloma Support Group we:
◾Have clear aims and objectives
◾Listen to each other and respond with sensitivity
◾Run the Group according to the members’ needs, in a transparent and accountable manner
◾Provide accurate, practical information, but do not give medical advice or make recommendations about an individual’s circumstances
◾Welcome everyone equally, and aim for the Group to be open and accessible
◾Support each other and allow time and space to talk about fears and grief
◾Make sure that everybody within the Group understands and respects confidentiality
◾Work in cooperation with other Myeloma Support Groups, Myeloma UK, healthcare and other relevant professionals

Who do we support

Membership of the Group shall be open to any myeloma patient, carer, family member, friend or healthcare professional over the age of 18 who supports the purposes of the Group. Membership shall be available to anyone without regard to gender, race, nationality, disability, sexual preference, religion or belief.

 Opening times

We have meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of every month whether that be a speaker meeting, coffee morning or other meetings. I can be contacted any daytime or evening, if no answer then I will get back to the person in question.
