What we do

The Rowan Organisation is a leading Direct Payments, Personal Budgets and Personal Health Budgets support organisation.

We are contracted to provide Direct Payments support within Conwy and we employ Independent Living Advisers (ILAs) who are located within the local community to provide support across North Wales and beyond.

We can provide face to face support to individuals and families living in North Wales and we can also provide remote support to individuals and families in all other areas across Wales and England.

We can provide information and support regarding the safe and effective use of Direct Payments and Support Budgets, in order to maximise the opportunity for independence and to assist people in achieving successful outcomes and leading happy and fulfilled lives.

Our services include support planning, brokerage, recruitment, support to be a good employer, payroll, managed accounts, DBS and safeguarding.

Who do we support

We are a User Led Organisation (ULO), Registered Not for Profit Charity and Company Limited by Guarantee which provides support to disabled people, families and children, older people, carers and people with health needs from birth to end of life in order to maximise their opportunity for independence.

Is there a charge to use this service?

Depends - Individuals eligible to receive service from their local authority can access our support free of charge. Individuals who have been assessed as being ineligible to receive support (self funders) can purchase our services.

Can anyone use this service?

Individuals living in Conwy can request a referral for Direct Payments support from their Local Authority. In all other areas, individuals can self refer to us. Please contact us to discuss how we can support you to maximise your outcomes through the use of Direct Payments and Support Budgets.
