Disability Holiday Schemes Interplay @ The Play Hwb and Interplay @ Crug Glas - Children and young people's activities

What we do

The Interplay @the Play Hwb holiday scheme runs during the school holidays (closed during Christmas Holidays) and the Interplay @ Crug Glas runs for 2 weeks during the summer holidays. The schemes funded by the City and County of Swansea, to enabled children and young people with disabilties and additional support needs to access play and leisure activities with the friends during school holidays.

Who do we support

Interplay @ The Play Hwb is for 4-19 year olds with additional support needs that prevent them from accessing mainstream holiday provision. The scheme provides both group settings and one to one support, catering for children with disability, mental health support needs, anxiety and challenging behaviour. Interplay @Crug Glas scheme caters for children age 4-19 with profound and multiple, and/or severe and complex learning difficulties, challenging behaviour and their siblings. Offering continuous 1:1 2:1 and 3:1 support the scheme ensures that children with complex medical and require registered nursing support.
