Barnardo's Newport Connect - Family support services

What we do

Under the Newport Connect umbrella of services (including Newport Young Carers) is a partnership between Barnardo’s Cymru and Newport Families First, Mentora will provide a tailored plan of support for families or young people who require low level support through Barnardo’s volunteers.

Who do we support

The service helps with building happy healthy family relationships, strengthening parenting, and assists with accessing local support services and community resources, so that families can get the best out of their family life and their community through 1:1, group and digital support.
