What we do

We Provide Tenancy Support in the home to
Mums and Dads aged 16-25 years and
their children.
The support we offer, helps young parents to:
Obtain and maintain a tenancy
Build on skills to manage a tenancy
Understand and act on the rights
and responsibilities of tenants
Money
We can support young Mums and Dads
to:
Maximise their income
Manage bills
Learn to budget
Negotiate with creditors
Access specialist debt advice services
Pursue your personal development,
such as returning to education,
training, volunteering or employment
opportunities
Your Lives
We can help to:
Build on parenting skills and
knowledge as young mums and dads
Set up safe secure, child friendly
homes and help to meet the developmental needs of children
Help your children live safe, happy,
healthy lives
Meet other Mums and Dads and for
children to meet new friends
too
Obtain support from
other agencies and help you to become more familiar with your community

We provide tenancy support in the home to young parents, or expectant parents, aged 16-25, and their children.

Can anyone use this service?

Any one can refer for support for young parents, or expectant parents, aged 16-25. Referrals need to be made to the Swansea Tenancy Support Unit on Tel: 01792 774360.
