Cardiff Councils Children's Play Services - Children and young people's activities


What we do

Children's Play Services operates 'Open Access Play Schemes' for 5-14 years, across Cardiff. The service also operates 'Closed Access' provision for disabled children and young people.
Qualified play teams facilitate a wide range of activities as well as encourage the children to invent their own. Every effort is made to accommodate the individual needs of all children who attend.

Activities may include:

Group games such as:
Parachute games, den building, dressing up, board games, card games, run around, jenga, charades, brain games etc.

Sports activities such as:
Table tennis, ball games, hockey, skipping, footy, bats, balls, hula hoops, obstacle courses, number hockey, dodge ball, crash mats & soft play.

Arts & Crafts such as:
Drawing, junk modelling, colouring, collage, painting, clay modelling, bead jewellery, badge making, card making, cartoon drawing, themed celebrations, hamma beads, light box tracing, face painting, nail art etc.

Who do we support

Children and young people 5-14 years, younger children may attend when accompanied by a parent/carer.

No

Can anyone use this service?

Anyone 5-14 years can use the play schemes.
