What we do

Lala's Childcare is run by me - a CIW-registered childminder - Lydia Hughes. My home setting is located in the hub of Brynmill, and walking distance from The Uplands.

The focus, as always, is the children. I enable a child-led service, where what we do is governed by the wants and the needs of the child, your child. I try to foster a friendly, fun, educational and creative environment, where children leave happy, where they have learned something new, and have built relationships with their friends and their surrounding environments, both inside and outside my home.

It's important for me to create strong relationships with parents, families and carers. With the child at the heart, our mutual working together will enable them to flourish now, and into the rest of their lives.
