334 Neath Squadron - Royal Air Force Air Cadets - Children and young people's activities


What we do

“To promote and encourage among young men and women a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force; it seeks to provide training that will be useful in the services and civil life. It fosters the spirit of adventure and to develop the qualities of good leadership and citizenship”.

The air cadets experience the following: Flying, Gliding, Shooting, Aero Modelling, Adventure Training, Archery, Canoeing, Rock Climbing, Abseiling, Hillwalking, Camping, Parades, Community Relations, Duke of Edinburgh, Fieldcraft &Team Building exercises, First Aid, Leadership, Sport (Hockey, Netball, Football, Rugby, Volleyball, Basketball & Circuit Training), Summer / Easter Camps at RAF Stations & overseas trips.

Cadets obtain qualifications up to level 2 BTEC. For additional information please contact the service.

Who do we support

The Air Cadets is a national youth movement, open to young men and women from school year 8 up to 17 years old to join. All cadets can remain until their 20th birthday.
