Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group - Family support services

What we do

In the UK, only 1 in every 450 children under 15 develops a cancer. So about 1,600 children (up to the age of 15) in the UK are diagnosed with cancer each year. These cancers can be quite different from cancers affecting adults.

The Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group funds, promotes, and supports research into childhood cancer and leukaemia, and is dedicated to supporting the work of those looking after children and teenagers with cancer. CCLG is a leading producer of high quality information for patients and their families. Their publications address issues relating to siblings, grandparents, treatment, and bereavement.
