What we do

We provide high standard welsh-medium care and early years education for pre-school children.

Who do we support

We offer childcare for children between the ages of 2 and 4 years old, under the Flying Start provision, provide 10 hours of early years education and also offer wraparound care for nursery children in schools within our catchment area.

We are available: term time only.

We are available during the following school terms:

  • Spring term
  • Autumn term
  • Summer term

We can provide wrap around care. We walk children to Ysgol Llanllyfni. Other schools are with parents/carers personal arrangements

The language spoken in our setting is Welsh only.

Provider has access to support and advice for Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
The Cylch Meithrin will act in accordance with the current Special Educational Needs (or Additional Learning Needs) Code of Practice for Wales, and will follow Early Years Action and Early Years Action Plus to support children when necessary. In a case where the Early Years Action Plus does not meet the needs of a child, the child can have a statutory assessment by the Local Education Authority.
