What we do
I aim to provide a service that allows children to learn and develop in a fun, relaxed and stimulating environment. I treat all children as part of my family.
Most of the daily care takes place in the home, but we attend local toddler groups and on trips to the surrounding countryside and amenities with parental consent.
I meet up regularly with other childminders.
Children are encouraged to play, share, and work together, as well as to take care of, and act responsibly towards, each other.
We do a lot of arts and crafts. Opportunities for reading, cooking, gardening, exercise, puzzles, games, trips and outdoor play
NVQ level 5 in Child Care Learning and Development and Level 3 in Playwork.
Qualified in Paediatric First Aid, Child Protection and Food Hygiene and I attend regular training and courses;
I am willing to collect / return children to and from home and pre-school in and around the Aberystwyth area.
