What we do

Provide pre-school day care for children aged 2 - 4 years of age

Who do we support

Deliver pre-school educational activities following the Curriculum for Wales and ensuring the children are stimulated with various resources and activities throughout the session.

Anyone can use the service and referrals are welcome.


  Our opening times and availability

We are available: term time only. Term time is the same as the local school.

We are available during the following school terms:

  • Spring term
  • Autumn term
  • Summer term

We can provide wrap around care. Nursery children are collected from the local school by the staff to walk to the setting.

The morning session is a Lunch Club where children learn through play and will require a lunch box. The afternoon session is where educational activities are organized to develop skills through play.

The language spoken in our setting is Welsh only.

Provider has access to support and advice for Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
The Local Authority Support Teacher offers advice and teaching resources for a child's learning development.
Provider has a working knowledge of the ALN Act and Person Centred Planning approaches
Appropriate courses are available from the Local Authority and Individual Development Plans are agreed with the Support Teacher.
Staff have accessed relevant ALN/disability training in the last 2 years?
The Leader has attended the course and is updated as necessary by the Local Authority.
Outside space
A play area with a mud kitchen and sensory activities, also use of the school playing fields.

Parents are asked to take any soiled nappies home as we do not have appropriate disposal facilities.
