What we do

Jellitotz is a Flying start nursery, run by CYCA-Connecting children and adults.
The nursery provides fun and exciting experiences for the children covering all areas of learning both inside and outside. Children make choices and we ensure that they have a voice and we provide activities they will encourage exploration, encourage speech & language and develop their social skills.

Who do we support

Jellitotz provides 210 days of free childcare to children the term after their second birthday until the term after their third birthday, in Flying start eligible areas. Each child is entitled to two and half hours Monday to Friday. We are inclusive to all eligible children.

Can anyone use this service?

Referral for the nursery come from Flying start. Health visitors will visit to complete the referral.

  Our opening times and availability

We are available: term time only. We also provide some days during the summer holiday, this maybe in the form of family sessions.

We are available during the following school terms:

  • Spring term
  • Autumn term
  • Summer term

We are unable to provide wrap around care.

The language spoken in our setting is Bilingual.

We always ensure that all children have a choice and a voice at Jellitotz, staff will listen to the children and enjoy exploring the children's ideas and choice of play. The children take part in planning themed activities.

All staff complete training and 2 staff members trained in BSL.
