What we do

The Safer Merthyr Tydfil Domestic Abuse Resource Team (DART) offers confidential, practical and emotional support to female and male survivors of domestic abuse age 16+.

DART works with survivors to formulate individual safety and support plans tailored to the risks you are facing and the needs you wish to address.
DART provides information and advocacy to assist survivors in making positive changes for themselves and their family together with recovery programmes including:
Freedom Programme
Recovery Toolkit
Own My Life

DART also provides advocacy and support for victims and survivors accessing Family and Criminal Courts.

Confidential support for male and female survivors of domestic abuse aged 16+

Referrals accepted from any source including self referral provided the criteria is met.
