ADHD Foundation - Family support services

What we do

The ADHD Foundation Neurodiversity Charity is the national ADHD charity for the UK, and the largest user-led ADHD charity in Europe.
The Foundation promotes a neurodiverse paradigm in health, education and employment.

Working in partnership with individuals, families, doctors, teachers, government and other agencies, the ADHD Foundation actively promotes a strength-based approach to living successfully with ADHD and other ‘neurodiverse minds’, such as, dyslexia, dyspraxia, autism spectrum, dyscalculia and Tourette’s syndrome.

We offer training and consultancy services across the UK and for international schools and agencies. In the North West of England, we provide a unique integrated health and education lifespan multi-modal service, offering NICE / SIGN guidelines, educational, psychological and medical interventions across the lifespan.

Who do we support

We endeavour to;

Improve life chances through better understanding and management of ADHD, autism spectrum, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia and Tourette’s syndrome.

Raise awareness and understanding of neurodiverse individuals, to enable services to better meet their needs.

Change the negative perceptions, cultural and institutional prejudices, that exclude neurodiverse individuals and communities.

Bring about positive change and inclusion within policy and practice and reduce inequalities in health, education, employability and socio-economic opportunities.

Support schools, health professionals and all public service providers who work with the neurodiverse population.
