What we do
Contact is a national charity that exists to support the families of disabled children whatever their condition or disability.
We provide information, advice and support. We bring families together so they can support each other. We campaign to improve their circumstances, and for their right to be included and equal in society.
Our freephone helpline advises thousands of parents each year on all aspects of caring for a disabled child.
Our website has information on issues such as education, benefits and family life, and our parent resources cover a range of topics including health and social care services.
Medical information; we provide up-to-date and validated information on hundreds of disabilities and conditions, their symptoms, treatment and the support available.
Workshops and information sessions; we run workshops and information sessions for parents across the UK.
