Penarth Food Pod - Family support services

What we do

The Penarth Food Pod is a local food outlet that is open three times a week. Offering perishable and non-perishable food available as well as toiletries and hygiene products. The Food Pod operates on a pay as you can afford basis.

Is there a charge to use this service?

Depends - Pay as much as you can afford. There is a suggested donation of £3 per bag of food to help us afford to supply more food for the Pod.

Can anyone use this service?

Everyone who is struggling to afford basic essentials like food, hygiene products etc
