What we do

Provides theatre of the highest quality for children and young people. We aim to: Create productions of the highest quality; Offer ground breaking productions; Reflect the identity and life of contemporary Wales; Create work which is full of intensity which celebrates the cultural differences in our society; Develop innovative new writing in the Welsh language; Mentor new talent; Ensure the inclusion of children and young people in all aspects of the Company's work; Consult with children and young people, the wider community and professional practitioners with regard to the Company's provision and direction; Develop participation opportunities for children and young people; Promote theatre for children and young people; Provide productions in Welsh and English; Recognise theatre as a life long learning tool; Nurture appreciation of a performance as a cultural experience as well as an educational experience; Nurture a critical audience which has high expectations of the theatre.
