What we do

We provide play and development sessions for pre-school aged children 16 months-3 who have a medical condition or impairment which affects their development. This is a referred service. Specialised staff work together with parents/carers, volunteers and other professionals in the children's centre to enable children to play and achieve new skills. We offer a safe and fun playgroup environment with planned play activities designed to help children learn and develop. We also support families by giving advice, general support and information.

A referral is required to access this service - Referrals must be appropriate and the referred child must meet the criteria; physical, sensory or cognitive impairment or medical condition.
