What we do

Peer Support Project is part of the Families First/Flying Start Programme.
Parent Peer Support is a vital element for contributing towards building strong, together communities. Enabling parents to come together in a safe and environment, having a voice in services to meet their needs and achieve a real difference.
Working together, we support parents to build resilience and confidence to support their own well being and the wellbeing of others

Parents of children living in the borough of Merthyr Tydfil.

Can anyone use this service?

Information is available to enable practitioners to share with a family who may require additional support to engage with the groups. Families can also just self refer. There is no referral form to complete, but phone contact before attending is encouraged.
