What we do

Helps adults understand and manage feelings and behaviour and become more positive and nurturing in their relationships with children and each other. Encourages an approach to relationships that gives children and adults an emotionally healthy outlook on life.
As the building blocks of emotional health and relationship skills, the Nurturing Programme uses the Four Constructs:
• Self-awareness
• Appropriate expectations
• Positive discipline
• Empathy

The programme covers
Understanding why children behave the way they do
Recognising the feelings behind difficult behaviours
Exploring different approaches to discipline
Finding ways to develop co-operation and self-discipline in children
The importance of taking time and looking after ourselves.

Tim Teulu Ceredigion is open to any family with a child or young person living in Ceredigion. You could be a parent, a step-parent, a carer or a family member looking after a child. Anyone can contact us directly.
