Al-Anon Family Groups - Family support services

What we do

Al-Anon is a worldwide resource for families and friends of problem drinkers. There are over 800 Al-Anon and Al-Ateen groups in the UK where those who are or have been affected by someone else's drinking meet together to gain understanding and support in order to solve their common problems. We share in total confidence our experience, strength and hope so that we can cope better with our situation.

Al-Anon is for anyone be it family or friend whose life has been affected by a problem drinker. They may feel isolated and ashamed to talk about this problem with those they know. In Al-Anon we offer hope, understanding and support with a way of learning to live with and cope better with this problem. We hold weekly meetings in many areas across Wales. Please visit our website for further information.
