What we do

Day nurseries provide childcare for young children. They usually open from early morning to early evening, Monday to Friday, all year round.

They offer a caring, safe, stimulating environment either as full day care or part-time care for babies and pre-school children.

Who do we support

ABC Day Nursery provides Early Education ( accessed via Flintshire Education Dept.) and childcare before and after school and in the holidays for older children too.

Regular Craft sessions are held jointly with the Residential care home for the elderly next door. We have use of their extensive grounds too.

Training/Experience/ Qualifications: BA Hons in Childhood Studies, NVQ3, 4 and 5 level. NNEB, First Aid, Food & Hygiene and Child protection. Most staff have L3 Playwork certificate. Has Investor in People Award.

  Our opening times and availability

We are available: all year round. Closed bank holidays and one week at Christmas.

We can provide wrap around care.

Children attending for a full day have lunch and snacks included. Half day is from 7.30am to 1, 2 or 3pm and includes lunch or 1pm to 6pm and includes tea.

  Our costs

  • £30.20 per Session - 7.30am - 1pm / 1pm -6pm
  • £38.50 per Session - 7.30am - 2pm for shift patterns
  • £41.50 per Session - 7.30am- 3pm for shift patterns.
  • £50.00 per Day

10% discount for 2nd child from the same family.
