What we do

I am a registered childminder based in Heath within walking distance of the UHW and Ton Yr Ywen school.

I live with my husband Matt and my beautiful 8 year old son, Will.

As a mother I understand the importance of great quality childcare to ensure that your children are happy, contented and thrive in a safe stimulating environment, and will work in partnership with you to provide the best level of care and attention supporting your child's development during the early years and beyond.

I offer a home from home childcare service where your child will become part of our family. I am currently working towards 'The Curiosity Approach' accreditation so children can take part in activities such as arts and crafts, free play and imaginary play with a range of authentic resources

My daily routine can include playgroups, parks and library's but I am a big advocate of outside play so will try to incorporate an outside activity every day, weather permitting.

Who do we support

Inside my setting I like to develop the children through activities such as arts and crafts, messy/loose play and sensory tables to name a few.

Prior to becoming a childminder, my son was cared for in a home from home setting. This has provided me with the experience of building relationships with a carer and I will use this experience to build trusting relationships with parents of children in my care which will enable me to offer the best possible support for their child's individual needs and development.

The knowledge and I have obtained caring for my son is the basis of the quality of the care I will provide and I will put the same amount of love, effort and support into the children I care for as my own child.

  Our opening times and availability

We are available: all year round.

We can provide wrap around care. I offer wrap around for Ton Yr Ywen nursery in Heath

My core opening hours are 8:00 - 17:30, however I can provide flexibility up to 6pm. This would be discussed on a one to one basis when finalising contracts
