What we do
Many of the people who settle in our community are unable to speak English when they arrive, and as such, find it difficult to find work, ultimately resulting in Butetown being one of the most deprived areas in Wales. The aim of the Adult English Classes we provide is to ensure women are empowered with some knowledge of conversational English class and overcome significant barriers to social inclusion. Conversational English Classes are held every Monday from 12:00-1:30 pm at the Butetown Community Centre, Butetown 1st floor, Cardiff, CF10 5JA.
