What we do
Our service provides high-quality Early Years Education, Wraparound and Flying Start childcare, offering children a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment where they are supported to learn, develop and thrive. We are committed to giving every child the best possible start in life by placing their wellbeing, development and individual needs at the heart of everything we do.
We recognise that the early years are a crucial stage in a child’s life. During this time, children develop the foundations for future learning, emotional wellbeing, confidence and relationships. Our provision is carefully designed to support children through positive experiences, meaningful interactions and a strong focus on play-based learning.
We follow the Curriculum for Wales, ensuring learning is child-centred, developmentally appropriate and responsive to each child’s interests and needs. Children learn best through play, exploration and hands-on experiences,
Who do we support
This resource is intended for parents and carers of children attending our Early Years Education, Wraparound and Flying Start provision, as well as professionals who support children and families in the early years. It provides clear information about our service, our approach to learning and development, and how we support children’s wellbeing.
The resource is designed to support families in understanding how their child learns through play, routines and positive relationships, and how we work in partnership with parents to promote development, confidence and school readiness. It may also be used by practitioners, partner agencies and inspectors to gain an overview of our provision and the quality of care and education we provide.
