Hijinx North Young Peoples Theatre - Children and young people's activities
What we do
Our young people's theatre groups are for all young actors aged 15+. We work inclusively with, as well as without, learning disabled and/or autistic and neurotypical actors who perform together as equal partners.
We currently run weekly sessions on-line and are keen to offer this opportunity to more young people who are interested in theatre, we explore developing characters, narratives, ideas for stories, script, and film. The sessions are lots of fun and include improvisation, games and movement, they are a chance for young people to learn performance skills, gain confidence, be creative, and meet new people.

The sessions are open to young people between 15 and 19 years oed.

Our sessions are run by experienced facilitators, plus support staff to ensure that we are able to fully support the individual needs of all participants. All Hijinx staff are DBS checked and safeguarding trained, and fist aiders are available at on-site sessions/venues. Please contact to discuss your child(s) needs further. - Relevant staff have a valid current DBS?
